UNIVERSITY OFFICES THAT CAN ASSIST WITH PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT AND SUBMISSION
The University has two Offices that assist
investigators in preparing project proposals and that are authorized to review
and submit proposals: SPA and the CTO. A third Office, STV, assists investigators
with non-clinical trial industry sponsored collaborations, as needed. These Offices have also been charged with
ensuring that proposals, agreements and awards comply with University and
sponsor policies and been generally described in Primary University Offices Involved in Sponsored Research. The following sets forth the types of
proposal that each Office processes. Please note that all sponsored research proposals and agreements must be
signed on behalf of the University by certain officers designated by the
Trustees in the CTO (for clinical trial proposals and agreements), STV (for
non-clinical trial industry sponsored agreements) or SPA (for all other
proposals and agreements).
